you cooked, i'll clean ...

today, i actually cooked dinner from scratch. nothing out of a box - a real true casserole that everyone enjoyed. After a late-ish evening with Nate at school, Keagan woke up and didn't want to go back to sleep. Ian had already been moved from our be to his so mark and nate could go to sleep together in our bed. to @ midnight, i scooped nate to his bed and popped keagan in our bed with us and he went right to sleep. Then @ 630, the big boys came in and it was green light time. Everyone to school ASAP, to the grocery, drop keagan off at school, put groceries away, pick up ian, go get him a red shirt for his xmas program, pick up keagan, fix lunch, and finally ... take a nap. Boy, it was a good one! I put keagan down and ian and i got into bed and he went right to sleep and so did i! Grammy helped me out by picking up nathan and keeping him until she came over for dinner! Awesome. Dinner was great and not really late, which was nice, and now I am blogging while mark does the dishes and grammy is making lego ships with the kiddos. we are hoping to have kiddos in bed by 8, even though ian napped until 5 pm! now grammy is taking ian downstairs to poop - he has a 'wiggly turkey', which means he needs to go. We call it turkey, because a long time ago, he was trying to say 'toushey' but he said turkey instead! so, i started to pick up from dinner, and super-hubby said, "no, I'll do it. You cooked, I'll clean." i better make sure he has clean socks and gym clothes for tomorrow. After all, he did more than the dishes!

hello, my name is kelly and i am addicted to facebook ... and so are all of my firends!

"just try it." they said.
"it will be great. we can share pictures, keep in touch, make plans. it will be great." they said
well where are they now? now that i am staying up late just to 'facebook'? where were this evening, while during nathan's xmas program, i was facebooking on my blackberry? (in fairness, i had already seen the program this afternoon, and i wasn't really missing much anyway.)
this facebooking thing has gotten so out of control - AND NOT JUST FOR ME - you know who you are! we have our own abbreviations ... FB = facebook, FBing = facebooking, BB = blackberry, etc. We are all updating our status every 38 seconds, and practically know when we all poop! and even my MOTHER-IN-LAW is FBing! sheesh ...
anyway, my crack dealer husband got me hooked on this RIDICULOUS game on fb and now i am practically begging my friends to play too just so i can get to the next level. and we all thought JD was so lame for making up fake fb friends just so he could do it too! i'm worse than he is, besides the begging, i actually used real $ from my paypal account (well, OK ... mark's) to go further in the game. DAMMIT, just one more mafia member, and i can beat louis castana! the flames of the addiction fire are fueled by you MAFIA WARS!
everyone is in bed, the house is quiet, i have 40 billion things to do, and I am fbing! f'ing nuts!
the good news is ... if my laptop dies, i can still fb in bed on my bb!

where is the baby's hairspray?

A question, i'm certain, all you mothers have asked yourself at one time or another! But, why is this so funny in my house? because i only have boys! If we named our kids, like the commercial, based on conception circumstances, my youngest son should be named Hawaiian Margararita! He has gorgeous long hair, and a real 'surfer dude' mantality. That long hair gets pretty messy when he sleeps on his face, and we need to be presentable and ready to leave when grammy gets here in 30 minutes, so ... where exactly is the baby's hairspray?
